Pictures At An Exhibition (remixed)

I did this so long ago (circa 2002-2003) and forgot about it. Found it recently.

Background: Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky

This was one of the first classical works that I fell in love with.

In a nutshell, M.M. created his pieces of music after works of art that he enjoyed. This is his journey through the gallery, through exhibition, and his representation of each. In between various scenes is his variation on the “promenade” through the gallery. (More on that story)

Here is an example of the original Promenade:

I remixed it. Why? Cause I could. It was fun.

And here is a sample of what I did:

Gnomes

Promenade (2)

Il Vechio Castello

Promenade (3)
