It’s funny: some people only keep up with me by way of this site. Not in person, by phone, by email, or Facebook.

Actually it’s the last one that brought this to mind. Mandy emailing me a lesson plan suggestion to do with my freshmen. Status updates as an icebreaker/brainstorm activity. That got me thinking about this site, and how inaccurate it is in tracking me(h) and what I am doing, or feeling from day to day. I post when I feel like it, from time to time.

This is not quite the same on Facebook. Thus, here is an update: MEH’s Facebook Status for the Last Month (in reverse order).

Sep 7 - Matthew is in a relationship which convinces him that he is beyond blessed in this life. 10:52am

Sep 6 - Matthew is MFAing and spending time on his site. Both long neglected for too long. 3:39pm
Sep 3 - Matthew is sick but surviving, and learning that his mother is right about matters of the heart and should have listened to her YEARS ago.

Sep 2 - Matthew back in CO. 12:52am
Aug 31 - Matthew and Mandy are Barn Dancing at the Gibbs.’ 10:51am
Aug 30 - Matthew is picking up Mandy in Boston! 5:06am
Aug 29 - Matthew is home. 5:08am –
Aug 28 - Matthew is on his way home. 6:08pm

Aug 27 - Matthew loves it when his students go to college, take a philosophy course, and realize they may know more than their prof! 11:05pm -
Aug 26 - Matthew is really all about ass kicking in various areas of life. 10:34pm
Aug 23- Matthew is remembering what meekness is: the ability to respond with force, rightly, and choosing not to. 12:49pm
Aug 19 - Matthew is getting by this week. 11:28pm
Aug 18 - Matthew ’s first day of school starts in a few hours and he just got off of a plane. 2:51am - Comment

Aug 15 - Matthew is in Seattle for the weekend. 11:08pm -
Aug 14 - Matthew is having another poem published. 5:08pm -

Aug 13 - Matthew is desperately looking for Ithaca and a boat to sail there and really has to stop caring about those who are trapped in the underworld. 5:54pm
